Model Dreadnought

If you ask a layman to imagine an acoustic guitar, chances are that what they picture in their head is a dreadnought. This iconic body shape was first seen in the mid 1930’s, and it has dominated the acoustic guitar market ever since. The dreadnought is an incredibly versatile guitar, featuring a huge tonal output with an immense rumbling bass response, crisp mids and balanced highs. This makes it well suited for a huge variety of musical styles, and its responsiveness to dynamics in the picking hand, makes it one of the go-to instruments of flatpickers and strummers alike.
